The ASI chapter for the South Bahamas Conference held a business reception for all members and interested individuals On Sunday September 30th, 2018. The reception, held at the Bahamas Union of Teacher Walker’s Hall on Bethell Avenue provided the opportunity for the board members to introduce themselves and their roles.

A review of the past year was given of all that was accomplished of the chapter. It was revealed that one of the main events last year was the mission trip to Mayaguana, conducted by Islandmission a subsidiary of asi Bahamas, coordinated by Audley Mitchell.

A team of asi members and volunteers provided aid in construction renovations and repairs to churches, and homes of the elderly, and other necessary aid especially in the area of hurricane disaster relief.

All members who came to the reception were also given the opportunity of having their photos taken in preparation for their ASI membership cards, which will provide them with discounts at business places operated by ASI members, as well as other benefits as an ASI member.

It was also revealed that the chapter was working diligently towards hosting the Inter-American division’’s ASI 2019 convention here in New Providence.

The asi Bahamas chapter will hold their annual Sabbath service at the Berea SDA Church on the 13, October 2018, where all are invited to come and fellowship with the members. The chapter will complete the year with the ASI Trade and Business Fair which will be held at the Gym on Wulff road on Sunday 28, October 2018 starting at noon.
