Shandera Smith has always been an advocate for the heavenly kingdom. On February 26, Smith furthered her dedication to Christ and was ordained as a local elder at the Philadelphia Seventh-day Adventist church.

She currently serves as executive secretary for the ASI chapter in the South Bahamas Conference. Smith works as a Dietitian at the Ministry of Health. Her passion for health ministries has afforded her the opportunity to serve as a former President of the Adventist Health Professionals Association.

The ASI Bahamas team is delighted to see how God will use Smith as she serves her church and community in this new role.
