To kick start the Inter-American Division’s ASI 2019 convention, numerous crusades are being held in the South Bahamas conference of Seventh-day Adventists. From August 10-17, 12 sites are conducting evangelistic outreach services to spiritually prepare members for the convention: 10 churches in Nassau, one in North Andros and one site in North Eleuthera. One of the speakers, Roger Alleyne from the Trinidad and Tobago presented the message at Breath of Life on Sabbath August 10.

Evangelist Roger Alleyne (Trinidad and Tobago)

In his message titled “What’s your position?”, Alleyne encouraged members to embrace the opportunity of salvation when Jesus calls. As Christians, he said, we must position ourselves for Christ to help us like Zacchaeus and the prodigal son.

Although many believe that ASI focuses only on businesses and entrepreneurship within the church, ASI also places a huge emphasis on evangelistic ministry, as the ultimate goal of the organization is to cultivate minds and hearts willing to Share the gospel in all areas of their lives.

The ASI convention will commence on August 21st, 2019 on Paradise Island, The Bahamas, and is to be a time of fellowship and an opportunity to network with fellow ASI members.
